- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbs sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water (120-130 degrees)
- 1 tbs shortening
- 1 egg
Mix all ingredients, using only 1 1/4 c. flour. Add remaining flour. Let rise 30 minutes. Divide into 12 greased muffin cups. Let rise 20-30 minutes. Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes.
