Combine:
1 egg
2 Tablespoons oil
1 cup buttermilk
Add:
1/2 cup plus 2 Tablespoons quick-cooking oatmeal
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup white flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
Further directions: Make pancakes as you would normally do.
